The short version: Verbria is built so there's almost nothing to collect. You don't make an account, and the things you do in the app — the words you save, your review history, your streak — live on your iPhone, not on our servers.

No account, ever

Verbria has no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number, because we don't need them.

What stays on your device

Your saved lexicon, progress, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. Cicero's coaching (memory hooks and example sentences) is generated on-device using Apple's built-in models — those prompts are not sent to us. The premium voice recordings ship inside the app and play offline.

Pronunciation & the microphone

When you tap "Say it," Verbria uses Apple's speech recognition to score how you sound. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice to our servers. Where your device and iOS version support it, this recognition runs on-device; in some cases Apple may process speech on its own servers under Apple's privacy policy. Verbria never receives the audio.

Purchases

Verbria Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details. We receive only the anonymous confirmation that a purchase is active, which your device verifies with Apple.

The one time something leaves

If you choose to send feedback from within the app, the message you write (and basic app version info) is sent to our feedback service so we can read and act on it. That's the only thing you actively send us, and only when you tap send.

No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs

Verbria contains no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no analytics SDKs that profile you. We don't sell or share data, because we don't have it to sell.

Children

Verbria is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and there is no account system through which any could be collected.
